Charming Charlie opening a store by our house!
OMG we have this super cute new fashion store opening by our house called Charming Charlie! Looks like mostly costume jewelry and accessories and some clothing items!
SWEET! Apparently they are really cheap, so maybe it's time to get some new accessories for our store for photoshoots (and for moi!). I will visit them and write a review and let you guys know how cute it is!

We won the 'Roger" belt giveaway contest on Market Publique!
If you visit Market Publique, then you know all about their obsession with a vintage belt they call "The New Roger" belt!
It has been seen on many other vintage sellers outfits for sale, and they wrote a post about it HERE.
Well they got their hands on two of those belts, and decided to have a giveway contest on their blog HERE.
So since I go to that site a lot, AND love that belt, I entered it and WON!!! YAY!!! Imagine how cute all our outfits for sale are gonna look with the belt! Can't wait to get it!

Help spread the word! Blog about Wicked Plum Vintage!
Wicked Plum Vintage is a fast-growing, online vintage boutique that offers only the most spectacular, and unique vintage fashions! Every vintage item is cherry-picked with the highest attention to details, as well as a sense of current and future fashion trends on the streets and runways.
Vintage is a way of life for us, we love it, we live it! And we love even more to share that love with others, and spread the word to those who have yet to discover it!
Buying vintage helps save the earth and your wallet! Plus, most vintage items are unique, so you won't show up somewhere looking like everyone else!
We know that many fashion bloggers and magazine editors love to write about vintage fashions, and vintage fashion sellers, due to the wonderful, unique, and diverse quality that is offered, but also for the sustainability of vintage to help save the Earth, and it's ability to help out when you are an a budget, especially these days.
Many of you are committed to eco-friendly items, and we appreciate that. You also are concerned about the state of our economy and it's impact on the ability to keep in tune with trends. We too are dedicated to those ideals!
Several online vintage fashion sellers are written or blogged about constantly, and the word of mouth has spread for them like wildfire, so much so, that their ending prices in vintage pieces have now passed the affordability mark for many buyers. We have noticed that the same 5 vintage sellers are talked about, and we feel strongly that now that they are so successful, and so branded in their own names, that maybe it might be time to spread the word about other vintage sellers, and help them blaze like a wildfire too!
We ourselves, Wicked Plum Vintage, have been selling vintage fashions online since 2002. For a year, we have constantly updated our store, with a slick, easy to navigate, professional look! We use professional lighting and backdrops, with the latest digital cameras, and professional models for that fashion magazine style!
We offer up only the best in vintage, chosen for it's quality, construction, wearability, and uniqueness. All items are accessorized and styled to suit the era of the item, and to show how you can wear it in real life! All items are gently laundered, repaired or hemmed as needed. We strive to disclose any flaws, but feel that even a tiny one just adds to it's character and it's history.
We ship our items all over the world, in the fastest and cheaptest way humany possible, and we NEVER make a profit off it.
Our customer service is the best, and we always go out of our way to make our customers happy!
We hope that you will feel an interest in our store, our look, and our items enough to feature us on your site or in your publication. With the amount of competition among vintage sellers at it's highest,we really need to find some other ways of standing out in the crowd. Also, with the economy the way it is, many of your readers and followers may get disheartened after reading about your favorite vintage sellers and then seeing the prices they get. Some people think nothing of dropping $200 on a vintage item, but most cannot afford that. They are on a tight budget, but still want to shop.
Our items never hit more than $30. Every now and then an item might go for more than that, but most of our items end in the $15 range! How awesome is that? You can't even get a cute dress at Target for that little, AND department store items fall apart very quickly. Vintage items will last decades and already has! Plus, who wants to buy cheap, shoddy-made, over-priced junk from third world countries run with sweat-shop labor? Buy vintage, and you say NO to that!
Our items and our store are aimed at a young, diverse, fashion-forward female clientele. We reach out to them as much as possible, but now it is time to branch out in newer and bigger ways.
Since SO many fashions blogs and magazines give lip service about online vintage boutiques who are now extremely popular and successful, we feel, and hope that, we can grow as much as they have, if only we could get some lip service about us.
We would be honored if you would mention us on your blog or publication, OR run a feature/interview about us. You can use any of our item pictures, we would be happy to answer your questions, and look forward to it! Or just spread the word! Tell a friend! Or shop with us!
